Hey ho, here's the first radio show that I did interviewign Delroy calling this 'The Beats Show'.
Another show with myself and Delroy, this time looking at his new album of beats which he want's to preview and get out to you and all interested in hip hop.
Check out the mistake I did at the start of this show, lesson to be learn, triple mic check and levels before going out on air. ; )
Hi, how you doing?
This is an enhanced podcast i recorded at Kings University on November the 4th on US Election night back in 2008
I wanted to be part of what would be the most historic night of any generation, I took my digital Morrantz to Kings College University, to the Student Union bar, where nearly a thousand students were packed in watching the outcome of the elections.
I have held back and released this enhanced pod, to remind ourselves how he got here. And what was on the minds of those of us, lucky enough to be around to watch it and be a part of it, and have an informed opinion on.
I hope you like it. God Bless and here's to a new better world.
**There are sections where the audio is quite low, i edited this on Garage Band, which is just notorious. Pro Tools all the way I say.
Hey, It has been an absolute age since I posted. Busy working as a radio producer and tutor for Ability Media. Go to www.Abilitymedia.org
Anyway, will keep this short and sweet. This show right here is a mid afternoon demo of hip hop news and current affairs news, related to April 22nd 2010. Got Hip Hop news about Guru's death, RIP, info about...and music from Ryan Leslie and Jadakiss, Jay Z and Swizz Beatz, on to the next one. And cause its my entertainment, current affairs show, Michael Douglas's son going to jail, here my thoughts on that. And some news on Haiti's successful pitch for aid.
Enjoy
Check this show out, just done of the cuff with my Music Student Delroy Pink-Had to get the some of his songs out there for you guys, thanks for listening.
Best.
Here is my demo new bulletin for freelance reporting shifts for the commercial radio sector. I am a newly qualified PGCE Broadcast Journalist.
This interview was when I went to the London Premier of Crash, I spoke to in no particular order, Serral Henry, who was in the Bill, UK now US comedian, Kojo, and David Harewood, who played the evil military leader in Blood Diamond opposite Leonardo Dicaprio and Djimon Hounsou.
It was an incredible film to watch, and of the back of that, I got to sit in on an interview with CRASH actor Terrence Howard, check out that audio too.
I found that even after the film, pretty much everyone was in agreement that racism is still prevalent, just implicit. And we all do it when we don't really mean too. The film highlighted the extremes of American racism, and it still resonates to me to this day. Great performances from everyone, can't single out any one actor in this film. They all stepped up and did a GREAT job.
This was an interview in my Choice Fm days, it was an ISDN interview with Tony Hawks who was promoting his latest playstation game in the Tony Hawks pro skater series. A seriously cool guy and to this day its been the highlight of the interviews i've done. ITS TONY HAWKS!!!!
From when when i was 14, I've been watching Extreme TV for ever, and the gig he did in Las Vegas was sick. So in the interview i had to ask about it. Check out...
This is a long lost interview I had of Tim Campbell which I did for Choice FM News. I was a Junior journalist on the Choice news desk, it was a Saturday afternoon and Tim had just finished doing a show with Kat and RB, the comedy duo back in 2006.
I grabbed Tim for a quick chat and produced cue's and clips for the overnight journalist.
How do you give everyone whatever their social or ethnic background-a fair chance in education?
One solution could be affirmative action-where youngsters from poor or under privileged homes are given extra help to get on prestigous courses at well known universities.
Adrian Cline-Bailey has been looking at one particular course that seems to be offering just that...
